Scope and Aim
International Congress on Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry (ICTAC) is held every four years, with an aim to promote international understanding and to exchange ideas and findings in the field of thermal analysis and calorimetry.
In 2012, memorable 15th ICTAC is held in Osaka, Japan. Osaka is located virtually in the center of Japan, and is near to ancient and beautiful cities of Kyoto and Nara.
ICTAC also stands for International Confederation for Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, which originated as ICTA, the International Confederation for Thermal Analysis. The Confederation was formed at the First International Conference on Thermal Analysis held in Aberdeen, Scotland, during September 1965.
